La mission qu’iels ont courageusement acceptée était de répondre à une seule et unique question : « C’est quoi pour toi l’indé ? ». Simple et terriblement complexe.\n\n\nDeux ans d'échanges par courriels, de tableaux Excel crypto-occultes, de relectures infinies (mais enfin finies) et de mise en page pointilleuse. Deux années de hauts, de bas, de certitudes, de doutes, pour enfin boucler ce fanzine (ou plutôt ce petit livre de poche) qui réunit 41 témoignages sur la musique indépendante.\n\n\n\nSi tout ça ne me tenait pas autant à cœur, jamais je ne me serais lancé dans cette aventure. \n\n\n\nJ’ai découvert la musique indé au début des années 90, vers l’âge de 13-14 ans. Depuis, elle est devenue, en grande partie, la bande-son du reste de ma vie. Cette rencontre a été essentielle, presque salvatrice, comme une petite révolte en perfusion continue : recycler de vieilles k7s, organiser des concerts dans des lieux parfois improbables, écrire pour des webzines, gérer un label non-profit (Atelier Ciseaux) pendant 10 ans, faire de la promotion pour des groupes et des festivals singuliers comme MOFO et Sonic Protest, héberger des inconnu·es, travailler pour la salle L’International et puis… Futur Parlé.\n\n\n\nAvec ce nouveau projet, j’ai avant tout voulu créer un espace d’échange autour de cette fameuse question, responsable de certaines nuits blanches, que je me pose depuis un petit moment et qui, au final, résonne chez beaucoup d’autres. \n\n\nCe premier numéro n’est ni un manuel sacré, ni un essai historique.
