  • Jean-Marc Caimi (born in 1966, France) and Valentina Piccinni (born in 1982, Italy) are an artist duo who began collaborating in 2013 for projects focused on both documentary photography and more personal and intimate. Their new project Güle Güle is a journey through the multiple microcosms of Istanbul, moving away from stereotypical images and tourist attractions to discover the most intimate and surprising aspects of the city. Here, people, places and situations form a fabric dense connective, a mycelium of existences. “Güle Güle (goodbye in Turkish) is a personal project focused on the city of Istanbul.
