Here is a series of twenty moments that follow the disappearance of the former Rhodiacéta factory in Besançon, more familiarly known as La Rhodia. These drawings, which bear witness to a time of change towards a different future, are a hyphen where we see the sedimentary layers of a multi-faceted history.

Rhodia’s history is dense, bearing the mark of the eras it has passed through: the time when farmers became workers, the time of industry (it was the first artificial textile factory in the world before being bought by the Rhodiacéta group), the time of labour, social and cultural movements (symbol of the great strikes of 1967, it was filmed by Chris Marker and saw the birth of the Medvedkine groups), the time of relocation, the time of abandoned wastelands as spaces of expression and exploration.
Now it is giving way to a park, a witness to an era when natural environments are seeking their common ground.
In the interstices of the past life of the place, are lodged the thousand memories that have crossed it.
