Launch & signing of “Terrain Glissant”

Each successively traced, digitized and then erased, this book bears witness to nearly 100 drawings made on a Veleda slate with six colored felt-tip pens. Above all, we discover a free gesture, perhaps encouraged by the ephemeral nature of its existence as an original.

The series only takes its final form in these multiples, laid out in an object with a format close to the original drawings. The glossy paper restores the shine and coldness of the slate, while the outer jacket envelops a cardboard cover which, itself, preserves the comforting softness of the puffy papers. The latter welcomes a joyful bowl of fruit, having lost its colors.

The smell of offset when opening the book merges with the engraved memory of the alcohol from the felt-tip pens of our childhood.
