Stripburger #86

A Wild World of Sequential Wonders Strange, unusual, different, mysterious, hypnotic, experimental, abstract … The 86th issue of Stripburger brings a rich and diverse comic ecosystem, featuring an abundance of mutations, hybrids, and strange life forms. The charm of the comics found in this issue is that they not only spark curiosity, but also pose many questions, encouraging debate on the fundamental characteristics of comics themselves as we seek their answers. The unstoppable curiosity and tireless exploration of all things unconventional and unusual also represent the modus operandi of the French comics and visual artist Sammy Stein. We joined him on a journey full of sudden appearances of fantasy in reality in a record-long and in-depth interview. That experimentation is always a form of research is further demonstrated by the reviews of an eclectic selection of comic releases in this issue of the Compendium. Welcome to a vibrant kaleidoscope of diverse visual storytelling!
