When a country's borders close, does it become an island? 2021, the artist undertakes to walk around the 356 km which separate his countries of France, Belgium and Germany. It will take 24 days. At the Like a Robinson Crusoe in her native country, the artist photographs and gleans the smallest things: bird feathers, stones, abandoned chairs, lichens, wastelands... In doing so, it supplies and feeds a materials library personal of forms and objects, at the same time as it marks a pause, a break in his way of working: a moment of time for himself.
