Two idle and nonchalant characters drag themselves to the annual Carnival of a fairytale town where half-Japanese yokai, half-ogre extras cross paths. understands little by little that there is a mystery to be solved that evening, a mystery much more complex than what the masked conspiracy theorists imagine gathered in the main square. We will come across a tyrannical witch, a scholar crazy, a university student with overflowing emotions and even an alien, all these characters going through cascading twists and turns... But the real hero of this book is Love, after whom everyone seems to run. without really knowing what it is.
