Cartographies

In this artist's book (now published as a facsimile), five autonomous and complementary paper blocks each respond to a deployment in 5 gestures, caught in the suspense of their uncovering, to reveal learned diagrammatic constructions, offered to an apprehension as much sensory as well as intellectual. A figurative analysis of commitment is at play here of the body around actions as obvious as they are essential, whose habit tends to let us neglect their complexity: sleeping / breathing / playing / listening / cultivate.
