Behind the Answer: The Question - New Edition

In 2013, Moolinex published an intimate book about love, love and death, entitled "The Question". The following year, Aurélie William Levaux published her a small book from the same publisher: “The Answer”, intended to be a personal version of the Question asked by Moolinex. The two artists were then married, and the diptych turned out to be a unique witness of a couple of artists delivering their emotions. The box set includes the works "La Question" by Moolinex and "The Answer" by Aurélie William Levaux, in a reissue in limited edition (300 copies). "The Question": A couple hug, kiss, make love, sweat mixes like colors on the painter's palette. The energy that is discharged, sometimes raw, sometimes soft, to the subtle climax of enjoyment, reveals a disarray, that of cyclical doubt, of the perpetual Question. This illustrated story by Moolinex, here in an expanded reissue, gives a very poetic point of view of the artist on the carnal relationship of the couple, with its moments of ecstasy and its low points, its aspirations and doubts… “The Answer”: Every question calls for an answer, including the one asked by Moolinex in “The Question”. Aurélie William-Levaux chose to build her own, in her own way. She gives her version to the " "why" finale of Moolinex, existential, which speaks of love and death, preferring to dwell on the details that make the couple, the love story, and how these are so easily forgotten…
