Above Salt Lake, located at an altitude of 1,200 meters, furrows are formed
saturated with minerals, veins full of colorful microorganisms,
flooded pools of cracked and acidic earth... Work of the man who
exploits the richness of the soils and the high salinity of the water. The colors
natural ones result from the concentration of salt, algae, microorganisms,
or are artificially generated by evaporation accelerator additives
or are the result of some discharges from the rare installations. In this
dusty atmosphere, the landscapes appear but already disappear. The
The combination of aerial viewpoint and abstraction allows us to question the
capacity of our contemporary territories to deliver a form of intelligibility
: what are we looking at? what are we doing? what are we building?
