The book begins with an introduction by curator Amy Smith-Stuart, who
presents the work of Genesis Belanger, and the way in which she explores the
gender issue. A second text, written by curator Leigh Arnold,
explores how the artist, influenced by her experience in advertising,
uses beauty and desire to begin a dialogue with the viewer. A
third test is signed by Éric Troncy, co-director of the Consortium in Dijon.
