WAR - NEW EDITION
WAR - NEW EDITION
In November 2016, Pauline, a friend of Marion Jdanoff, in remission from cancer
breast cancer, learns that the cancer has crept into her brain, and that she must
return to fight. Terrified by this news, and wishing to accompany her
friend, the author who lives far from her has the idea of sending her every month
enough drawings for her to burn one a day until she heals
complete and total. Quite quickly, this correspondence takes on the trappings
of an interface between Pauline and her to talk about loves, friendships, fears,
of joys, of food, of lives and of death. Reissue of this first great
work by Marion Jdanoff (Official Selection of Angoulême 2020), augmented
of an additional letter from Marion to Pauline and a new cover.
