Journal inactuel de l'oubli
Accompanying the reissue of the anthology of the Arab surrealist review,
The Libertarian Desire, we publish the autobiography of Abdulkader El Janabi which
was the main driving force and is now a key figure
of the history of surrealism. In this lively and poetic story, El Janabi
returns just as much to his youth in Baghdad in the 50s, his first
carnal and cinematic loves than on the continuation of his journey, in London
among the hippies and the Trotskyists, in Vienna and finally in Paris, where his
poetic and political intransigence would finally find an anchor point
its measure.
