The contradictions
The contradictions
Sophie, a young American queer and activist, arrives in Paris as part of
of a student exchange program. Spring break is coming and, with a
new anarchist friend, she decides to hitchhike to Berlin in
making a detour via Amsterdam. She is soon confronted with the limits of her
political commitment, to its own contradictions, but also to those of
others.
In a minimalist style, sometimes poetic, sometimes grating, Sophie Yanow approaches
with lucidity the incoherence which sometimes opposes our words to our actions.
