NORBU

Marc and Astrid have just broken up and Astrid is struggling to get back into the classroom normal of her life; she sometimes hopes that their story is not over and she hasn't yet announced the news to all her loved ones. But Marc doesn't no longer responds to his text messages and phone messages. Distraught, the young woman woman tries to continue living, prepares for a classical dance competition, and Over the weeks, he becomes more and more angry with his ex-partner, who still hasn't come to collect her things from her house. For his part, following a drunken evening, Marc wakes up in a house unknown, at the home of a mysterious woman, Barbara, who has just had a precious stone by his brother and who asks Marc to help him pursue the thieves to find the stolen object. Marc then finds himself drawn into a fantasy world populated by characters with animal heads, castles labyrinthine and traps of all kinds, without really understanding what is happening to him arrived. Norbu is a cryptic double narrative, peppered with symbols. A double story, Astrid's, anchored in the real world, and Marc's, which seems to be evolving in another reality. The denouement, or explanation, lies at the center of the book.
