Bergen

Born in 1981, Anja Dahle Øverbye studied art at the Academy of Bergen (Norway) and then obtained a degree in visual communication from UCA (University for the Creative Arts) in England. “Sous le signe du grand chien” (Hundedegar), her first graphic novel was published in 2015 in Norway (Jippi Comics) then in 2017 in England (Centrala) and in 2019 in France (çà et là). It won the award for best Norwegian comic book at the Oslo Festival in 2016. His second graphic novel, “Bergen”, was published in 2018 in Norway and in January 2021 in France by çà et là. Anja Dahle Øverbye lives in Kongsberg where she works on new comics and also as an illustrator.
