Charly Martins – ‘Charly Martins dreams of his next celebrity from a council flat. The crooner singer, always looking for love and his next gig, despairs of ever breaking through. But music makes it all worthwhile. On the night of 31 December 2018 in Paris, in a refectory lent by a parish, he sang two songs. One of his compositions is called Nous allons nous revoir. That evening, photographer Edouard Jacquinet met him for the first time and made him a promise.’
