A truly colossal project, De tout bois required no less than 18 papers, 3 printing techniques, 4 printers, 2 glues, 2 guillotines, 1 folding machine, 1 drilling machine, 1 binding press for embossing, 1 stamp, 1 cutter, thread, 1400 binding tubes and screws, around ten formats, several hundred kilos of paper and several thousand carefully sorted sheets, for a complex assembly carried out by a handful of hands. This copious anthology features no less than fifty international artists, both established and emerging. A large part of the contents is devoted to the graphic poetry of the 1970s and to transgressive approaches.
