DEAR MOM, I’M IN NYC EVERYTHING IS OK. XOXO LAURA is a travel diary, designed in postcards and created during the adventure.

“A postcard stuck in the bottom of a bag looking for a mailbox in a city where they all seem to have disappeared. I don’t know if I told my mother I was gone… Anyway, she will eventually receive this card.
I flee from the crowd that I had come to find in this big city, and reattach myself to the immense solitude of my existence. It’s funny how everything seems so beautiful with the innocence of the first look. I’m not too sure what I’m looking for anymore, so I let myself be guided. I don’t want to share this moment with anyone and I gradually sink into the meanders of my thoughts as I walk through these deserted streets that maintain the inexplicable emptiness that holds me in suspense.”
