Décor N°1

Published by the École des arts décoratifs de Paris, DÉCOR magazine offers an alert and sensitive look at the theoretical and practical issues of contemporary décor. DÉCOR is dedicated to thinking about emerging creation in the fields of design, fashion, graphics, video or sculpture, scenography or animation, textiles or photography. Through interviews, portfolios, theoretical or fictional texts, each issue takes stock of an issue (“decor”, “vulgar”, “plastic”, “child”…) that structures the environment, representations and social devices.

DÉCOR calls upon authors from different fields of theory (philosophy, art history, human sciences…) as well as from literary and artistic creation. They can be recognized personalities and confirmed specialists as well as students of the School or young talents.

The DÉCOR magazine is also available in two other formats. It includes a digital component (revuedecor.fr) and social networks that are editorialized as a magazine of artistic discovery, as well as living “reviews” in the form of events and exhibitions.
