For its first collective publication, Objet Papier invites its artist friends to deliver their definition of performance through two angles: the body and the motor. Reflecting an era dedicated to competition to the point of absurdity, the confrontation of man and machine seems the ultimate limit to be explored. OP009 : PERFORMANCE compiles 19 multi-media artistic interpretations of the great antagonism between muscles and pistons. A double edition accompanied by two bilingual text-books extending each work in an experimental way.
