“It is a series of 240 images taken with a compact film camera between 2017 and 2019. The project was conceived as an introspective walk through my native land (Russia and nearby), a dialogue with my past in order to better understand the present. It turned out to be something between a traveler’s notes and a personal journal, and, judging by first feedbacks, it’s melancholic and fun.” All proceeds from Holy Rus book sales will be donated to Nochlezhka, which helps homeless people in Russia.⁠
