Initium Maris, carnet de bord II/III – This second logbook presents the years 2020 and 2021 of the Initium Maris artistic expedition, part of the Paysages productifs series, an inventory of the underwater landscapes of the French coast begun by Nicolas Floc’h in 2015.

Initium Maris and Paysages productifs propose to show, from a photographic point of view, what lies beneath the surface as far as the eye can see; to question the representations that are made of the ocean; to produce an inventory of landscape typologies at a given moment; to disseminate this work in the art world, but also in the most diverse circles: scientific, civic, educational communities…
