Méfait Accompli

Méfait Accompli is a self-published collection of 200 copies, the cover is printed in silkscreen and the inside is printed in risography on recycled paper at the Atelier Fluo, in Grenoble, in November 2022.

Méfait Accompli is the result of five years of observation, questioning and photographic captures in the neighborhood of Saint-Bruno, Grenoble. This book collects a set of urban writings, absurd and political, vandal and poetic. Méfait accompli and its quinquennium follows the chronology of various social movements since 2017, and reveals the writings as reflections of the revolts. This edition brings together six hundred images of messages, which testify to the passage of the scriptors of the night, and sometimes of the day, who write very large what the world discusses low. Through various testimonies, it gives voice to those responsible for these misdeeds and sheds light on this practice that seems, at first glance, absurd and senseless.
