This book is the wild therapy story of the allegorical double of Victor Brauner in 37 artworks. A succession of forced integrations leads the Ego to “make sex with the Universe” and to merge. For the Romanian artist (1903-1966), sex is a vital principle, and it is in the same way as mysterious determinisms, the supernatural and divination that he places in his art as a form of sacred madness.
