Revue Exercice N°2 Tentatives – After the publication of the first issue in 2021, we were asked what had prompted us to create a new paper journal from scratch. We explained that we wanted to offer something that, from our point of view, did not exist: a curious, narrative and heterogeneous collection of the subjects of the city and the built environment. Diving into the unknown of independent publishing seemed to us a challenge within our reach. Above all, the game was worth the candle.

This time, we wanted to broaden this question: what drives us to dare, to experiment, to open new paths?

This issue proposes a geographical as well as temporal journey in the heart of all kinds of territories, to rub shoulders with the bets that deserve to be tried. Together, we explore the legacies of the past and learn to inherit them in order to better prepare for the future. We get on our bikes and mopeds to give another taste to territorial crossings. We question the place of technologies in our landscapes. We try to abandon our usual points of view to build new ones. Finally, we give more room to fiction, imagination, even prestidigitation to initiate new relations to others and to places.

This issue is an invitation to action and audacity.
