Coup de foudre

Coup de Foudre, is only a pretext, an artistic convenience, an echo of the exhibition place, the EDF Foundation. The couple of hyberTalec creators, as lucid chroniclers, far from being uniform and monolithic – there is the princeps link between the two artists -, delivers to the reader/spectator, multiple messages, between dreamlike richness and children games.

The mysterious “Coup de Foudre” (lightning strike) then takes shape through an immersive, poetic journey, at times marvelous and distressing, at times philosophical, punctuated with outrageous characters and burlesque, epic situations. The reader/spectator is guided by chance, imagination and play, like the Cadavre exquis, twenty meters long, executed with two hands.

Vast labyrinth, Coup de Foudre, is strewn with paintings, drawings, sculptures, clothing … likely to promote encounters, create an alchemy with visitors. The couple hyberTalec, by the alliance of their works manages to tie a new relationship between them and the spectator, until arousing the love at first sight. The pleasure of discovery is accompanied by a reflection on art, music, fashion, the body… A polysemous exhibition if ever there was one, Coup de Foudre, immerses the spectator in the very process of creation, paradoxically conceding no derogation to the approximate, but, on the other hand, alerts us to the precariousness of the world.
