Toilet Paper - Miles Aldridge

British photographer Miles Aldridge has developed an aesthetic that is both chic and chromatic, but also surrealist. He is influenced by the films of Federico Fellini and David Lynch, by the photography of Richard Avedon, as well as by the album covers and book covers created by his father, Alan Aldridge. David Lynch, one of Aldridge’s inspirations, once said of his work: “Miles sees a reality that is chromatically harmonious, graphically pure and sharply defined.” This latest issue of Toilet Paper features a selection of Aldridge’s glamorous and sophisticated mise-en-scène images in a palette of vibrant, acidic hues.
