FROM considers the comic strip in its broadest, open sense,
inventive, defying the dividing lines established for decades
cultural practices of artistic compromise and commercialization. FROM
refutes everything that reduces comics to being artistically the most
poor, noticeably the most sterilizing, humanly the most sad.
STARTING FROM approaches the comic strip as being, above all, the territory
of inventions and interventions ideal for thinking, feeling and living the
tensions relating to the aesthetic, political and anthropological uses of
language and image grapple with the cultural steamroller
contemporary.
