Abolition. Feminism. Right now.
Abolition. Feminism. Right now.
“Abolition. Feminism. Now.” is a call to action, a challenge
to those who think that penal abolition and feminism are projects
divergent or incompatible policies. In this collective work, the
academic activists Angela Davis, Gina Dent, Erica Meiners and Beth Richie
celebrate a genealogy of movements, struggles and organizations (women
racialized, incarcerated and queer people at the forefront) who have contributed to
define abolitionist feminism in the 21st century. This book also contains
illustrations and annexes documenting the field work as well as a
foreword by Rokhaya Diallo and an afterword by the association l'Envolée.
