At the heart of color - French painter and colorist, André Lemonnier has
developed during his career research on the classification of
colors as well as studies of architectural and industrial polychromies.
Aiming to integrate the buildings into the landscape, these projects were
produced at the request of architects, industrialists and public establishments
of new cities. \n \nHalfway between a prospective study on color
and a monograph, this work presents the paintings, collages, instruments and
polychromies created by the artist from 1968 to 2019. Offering a resolutely
modern color, he explores the links between art, design, techniques
industrial and urban planning.
