"In the hollow of flowers" is a story, a narrative around archive images of
the artist, whether they are intimate, anonymous, social, political or whether they
belong to a form of common culture. An invitation to discover the
affective, emotional relationships that he maintains with these images, witnesses of his
wanderings and his invisible journeys. By reappropriating them in the form of
gouache or pencil drawings and comparing them with the source images, Tom
reports on a mise en abyme of the desires they provoke and of the flow
sentimental that unites him to them. He tries to make exist the space that could
slip between the two, a link that would weave a form of geography of our
imaginary spaces.
