Urgent need: choir for black women's voices

Urgent Need: Chorale for Black Women's Voices (1979) is the last poem by the Contrechant anthology, collected by the author shortly before her death. In this powerful text, she resurrects the voices of dead black women in indifference and rehabilitates their memory in a masterly way. For To accompany this poem, a detachable poster shows a drawn map by Maya Mihindou. This diagram was thought up and drawn from reading by Audre Lorde and many authors straddling the West and the South. This is a proposal for compiling memories of the struggles.
