This book offers a comic meditation, where a friendly and gifted pebble consciousness, shares with us its ancestral wisdom… The drawing, minimalist and repetitive, almost disappears before his millennial thoughts. Time passes and The good words are distilled throughout the pages, at a skillfully measured pace. watch time pass. And each appearance of the external elements, wind, rain, snail, a hiker, is a real event coming to disturb this apparent tranquility, as well as the certainties of this learned pebble. This nonchalance and this stylization of great simplicity, are at the service of a tone and a personal rhythm. The layout of the almost identical pages and the small disturbances that occur create a delightful shift. It is subtle and bittersweet. The humor is born from the tempo of the book. But if this issue balancing act works, it is also thanks to a communicative drawing. The emotions of the stone, emotions or discomfort are accurately represented, served by a drawing that inspires immediate sympathy.
