\nConceived by Gerry Anderson's (Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet) Century 21 Productions for the 1960s comic book market, the images created for the photo strips take a unique, surreal look at domesticity, family, and childhood. Due to their unusual nature, they never achieved the popularity of Anderson's other characters, and the strips were discontinued after a year.

\nThis photo book presents the best original transparencies from this brilliantly bizarre project: driving their striped Mini, preparing for bonfire night or taking a boat ride, Candy, Andy and the Bearandas live in an unforgettable and dreamlike world. The carefully restored images are lovingly presented in a leatherette hardback binding (with hot-iron branding and integrated cover image).

\nThe book also includes a foreword by Jamie Anderson, Gerry Anderson's son, and an introduction tracing the history of the Candy Project by historian and broadcaster Alan Dein.
