Caltrop - Henri Crabières disguises as a farce what is more like a painful and violent abstract and chaotic introspection. Self-represented in his main character, he suffers the gratuitous atrocities of two thugs determined to enrich themselves thanks to his kidnapping.
\nChausse-trape is a comic strip produced as part of his diploma in Decorative Arts in Paris, for which he laid his graphic foundations and his narrative obsessions.

\nIn red and black, sharp and powerful, the author develops a rich and free graphic vocabulary, alternating with frames, lines, masses of appearances of explosive colors. The interactions are felt and spontaneous, just like the unfolding of the story which has not undergone any modifications to preserve its freshness, transparency and liveliness. Henri Crabières poses as a true narrator-drawer, writing with the same line the faces, the words, the movements and the settings.
