As if the night had devoured the world
What is more intimate than our dreams? And if it were possible to keep one
trace through photography? This was, at the turn of the 19th century, the challenge that
tried to relieve the doctor Hippolyte Baraduc and the commander Louis Darget.
By breaking free from scientific conventions, the two researchers
thus explored the border between visible and invisible, seeking
tirelessly through countless devices to unravel the mysteries of the
human psyche.
