Continental Drift

In April 2013, photographers and close collaborators Nico Krebs and Taiyo Onorato left Switzerland with their 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser, heading east and their final destination, the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. Traveling through the landscapes of Eurasia and Central Asia, Nico Krebs and Taiyo Onorato photographed many unknown territories, caught in tension between Millennial traditions, Soviet heritage and anarchic dissemination of the capitalist model. An identity confusion that the two artists manage to make it palpable through their photographs. Continental Drift is the second book published by Taiyo Onorato and Nico Krebs by Patrick Frey, after The Great Unreal, report of a journey to the heart of UNITED STATES.
