“Crossroads” is a narrative photographic series, based on sisterhood and the camaraderie of the photographer's two elderly aunts, Swati and Gayatri. Born Albinos in Kolkata faced social and psychological confinement throughout their lives. By examining the gap between societal exclusion and family intimacy within the home, this book is a powerful visual tribute revealing how with joy, love and humor they thwart the discrimination in everyday life.
