A world tour in 99 miniature treasures
Founded by Ludovic Donnadieu over the course of some twenty years, this
collection of ancient treasures comes from a myriad of ancient cultures,
famous or obscure, from five continents. The selection made respects
a balance between the different geographical areas, ensuring the
representation of all regions of the world and all periods
historical or prehistoric. Thanks to this complete panorama, the viewer is
invited on a cultural and anthropological journey through time and space.
The works presented are "miniatures": few of them exceed the
20 centimeters. A work of art, in fact, does not need to be monumental.
to provoke deep emotion and fascination! Fragility can
to endure, the tiny to embody greatness, and a singular detail to transmit
a universal message.
This set, unique in the world, of 99 objects meets a triple criterion:
authenticity, aesthetic quality, balance – both between the subjects represented
than between different forms, materials or functions. The period covered
spans from 6,000 BC to the early 20th century. The presentation of
This public collection has a double significance: in a threatened world
through uniformity, it celebrates the richness and diversity of human cultures
while emphasizing the beauty and grandeur of small formats and the necessity
to protect what is fragile.
