Disruptions - The Diverse Practice of Palestinian Artist Taysir Batniji

nevertheless shaped and destabilized by the same forces that affect those close to them
of the artist in everyday life. \n \nDisruptions oscillates between the
casual domestic language of family telephone call and
distorted and degraded compositions, saturated with colors, obliterated by the
pixels, eradicated by distance. Through resolution and
compression, Batniji's poor images politically visualize the way
whose communication and daily life in Gaza are compromised by the
conflict, control and surveillance. In their noise and their obliqueness
