Doors - LA Woman
Doors - LA Woman
"Ideally, we should be able to listen to the Doors from life. But the end is
there from the beginning and, deceived by this constant play on "The End", we
considers the Doors too often since the death of Jim Morrison, without really
grasp the deep vitalism of this music. It is particularly tempting
as for the last album, LA Woman (1971). From the outset, the myth of
Morrison twists to death and prevents the lively listening of the Doors. The wish
which animates this little book is to unclutter this group of its legend in order to try
to give it back to music."
