On the occasion of the exhibition “S'éclairer sans fin” at the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, Edi Dubien explores the social, psychological and emotional constructions that diverge from normative discourses and imposed life patterns. Fauna and flora, central motifs of his drawings and watercolors, are used to stage individuals – from children to adults – reduced to silence by the violence of a society that ignores both diversity and the environment.
Through a sensitive dialogue between humans and nature, Edi Dubien's work invites us to become aware of the importance of self-acceptance in our diversity and of respect for others.
