ON STRIKE

This work seeks to think about the place of social conflict in art and the role possible of art in social conflicts from the circumstance of the strike. From representation to active participation, from the defense of working conditions to the questioning of work itself, artists maintain a heterogeneous relationship to the strike, observed here from a few case study. Thinking about the connections between art and social conflict which are being played out there, it is a question of asking oneself once again in what way and what ways can art be political.
