Between My Walls follows a young couple on a property visit. Experienced as a
intrusion, this visit is told from the point of view of the house. Because yes,
among other peculiarities, the house is alive. And the least we can do
to say, is that it is hostile to the human race...
The second story Among the Beasts tells the story of a child taken in and
raised by strange but caring creatures in the middle of a moor
inhospitable. He shares his observations, describes the way of life and the
behaviors of the species, of a strangeness as wonderful as it is repugnant.
But the monsters may not be who we think...
Borrowing his themes from horror cinema, Jesse Jacobs puts his design
meticulous in the service of two tales smelling of darkness and
misanthropy.
