FAULTS
Laura Bonnefous worked on the FAILLES project in 2015 during a residency
artist in Japan. This project formulates the exploration and introspection of a
territory during a poetic journey on the island of Kyushu, a volcanic region
constantly navigating between brilliance and appeasement. Far from the inventory and the
description, Laura Bonnefous immersed herself for several weeks in
the atmosphere of these places in an instinctive and sensory way. A year after his
Back from Japan, it was while discovering a collection by the designer Issey Miyake
that she finds an answer that echoes her photographic project. The house of
couture agrees to collaborate on this project by discovering the images of
territories.
