Catalogue of the eponymous exhibition presented at the International Museum of Arts Modestes by Hervé Di Rosa – Sète – from February 17 to September 18, 2022. \n \nModest Fictions and Augmented Realities deploys an unprecedented cartography where collaborative art, the affinities between art brut and art are intertwined contemporary, artistic experimentation, counterculture and news technologies. Rooted in a corner of the Belgian Ardennes, the art brut center & contemporary The “S” Grand Atelier, installed at the forefront of creation current, resistant to standards and assignments is above all a place of life and meetings reported in this catalog, not like the others, by its founder, Anne-Françoise Rouche. Modest fictions and augmented realities dives into new and fascinating worlds, from graphic narration to less expected media, such as cinema, textile design, photography or digital arts.
