The Museum of Romantic Life continues the dialogue between romanticism and creation
contemporary by inviting Françoise Pétrovitch to present around forty
of works created especially for the museum. By exploring two themes dear to the
romantic, nature and the feeling of love, the artist offers with
the exhibition "Love. Break" a poetic and powerful work, where landscapes
of imaginary islands with murky reflections, made with ink wash, rub shoulders with
large-format paintings of solitary or couple adolescents. This work,
enriched with workshop photographs and an unpublished interview, offers an immersion
fascinating in the world of Françoise Pétrovitch.
