Mar Saez had the opportunity to describe Gabriel's entire transformation. When Mar met him in 2012, he had not yet been able to start his hormonal treatment, and although psychologically he had already buried Isabel, Physically he still looked a bit like one. Mar completed this photographic work, where we observe the physical transition from woman to man, from Isabel to Gabriel through archive images from his childhood. Mar Saez, a young Spanish photographer based in Madrid, is interested in developing his own narrative expression and his fields of exploration are social issues, anthropology and poetry. In her most recent projects, she studies gender-related attributes, as in his latest work Vera y Victoria, published in 2016.
