Hecatomb TV
Hecatomb TV
HécatombeTV brings together more than 600 photos of cathode ray tube televisions collected and
taken by Emma Le Doyen and Samuel Rixon over more than 10 years. This work tends to
document the end of an era, that of cathode ray tube television. This
object, today considered a relic of another time, has today
gave way to flat screens and smartphones. It alone symbolises everything
a generation, having grown up in the 90s and 2000s, at the dawn of the advent
of the internet. HécatombeTV is divided into 5 chapters, each documenting a state of
different degradation of televisions.
